Groups & Private Parties
We gladly welcome all type of groups to Skateville. Groups that have enjoyed our facility in the past include schools, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, non-profit organizations of all kinds, churches, child care programs, youth and recreation programs, sports teams and leagues, and corporate and social groups. Rollerskating is a healthy, fun, and economical form of entertainment for all ages.
Party Options
Sometimes groups join us during one of our public sessions. Sometimes they have a larger event exclusive to their group members. Group and private party options vary based on group size and party time desired. Some of the options are:
- Small groups/organizations (typically 8-20 people, such as a single scout troop or sports team) can take advantage of the same party package we offer our birthday party groups, which offers admission, skate rental, a meal, and a skating pass to return to one of our future public sessions, at one low per person rate during a public session. (Reservations requested.) They are also welcome to come in just for skating at the regular admission prices.
- Slightly larger groups/organizations (typically 20-75 people) can also become part of a public session and may receive a discounted admission rate depending on session, group type, and group size.
- Larger groups, or groups of any size wishing to have exclusive use of the rink, can book a private party during any time we do not have public skating.
Because of the number of variables, including group size, party length, day and time desired, optional food packages, etc, please contact us for a customized rate and reservation for your group.
Private Parties
A private party is a great way to host a school event, a holiday celebration, a family reunion, a corporate event, a birthday party, or a youth or family or adult event of any kind. Having the rink to yourself allows you to tailor the music and activities to your group’s needs. It allows you to personalize the event and more easily keep track of any young guests. Our large facility has hosted graduation parties, adult and child birthdays, church group skating parties, religious services, dances, going away parties, wedding receptions, bat/bar mitzvahs, Girl Scout Service Units and Boy Scout Pack parties, school family nights, Hockey Associations, corporate events, park & rec events, and many others.
Private parties are typically held for a two hour period, although longer times are certainly available, and they can be scheduled any time we do not have public skating. Your facility rental includes skate rental. We provide a DJ to play music and engage skaters in specials as desired, and your organization can provide its own music if a specific playlist is important to you.

Field Trips
Year after year, Skateville hosts many dozens of school and child care groups for fun and affordable roller skating parties. Groups from preschool through college age have enjoyed their field trips to Skateville. Teachers and group leaders recognize that skating is a lifetime sport that offers many health benefits as well as being a fun and sociable activity.
Your field trip admission includes skate rental. During your visit, our arcade and snack bar will be open for your student’s enjoyment. We can also customize a food package to meet the needs of your group for a lunch or snack during your time with us.

Fundraising Skate Parties
Who says that raising money has to be hard? Let the staff at Skateville do all the work for you! It’s easy, convenient, free, and most of all, FUN!
Our fundraising skate party program offers your school or group an opportunity to earn a rebate on each admission to your fundraising skating party. All you have to do is schedule your activity and promote it to friends and family. The more people who attend, the more money you make! Some groups have also set up silent auctions or other additional fundraising activities to occur simultaneously at their skating party.
We offer late afternoon or evening party times (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) and Saturday and Sunday late afternoons where schools or groups can earn a percentage of the admission dollars back once a minimum attendance is reached.
We can also customize prices and conditions to fit your school’s needs. For example, longer/shorter times, include food and/or beverages for your group, etc.
Best of all, we do all the work! You just have to invite people, then sit back and relax, or come out and enjoy the fun.
